River Region CrossFit is a training facility that provides affordable training fees with no contracts. We're not your typical fitness facility with shiny equipment lined up from wall to wall. We deliver results! 

Whether you are trying to lose weight, gain muscles mass, improve in the sport you are competing in, or fighting obesity and disease we’re here to help you. What you'll find at RRCF is bars, bumpers (rubber weights), kettlebells, pull up bars, med balls, ropes, GHD's, and a team of well qualified trainers that will help you reach your goal. Think it's too hard? Pssshhh! We got people over the age of 50, young children, and your mother's CrossFitting! Intensity is relative to the individual.

Getting started

For our beginner athletes, we offer an On Ramp program designed to teach you the basics of CrossFit in a friendly and safe environment. Our three week course meets three times a week for an hour and will ensure a good foundation for your transition into our regular CrossFit classes. On Ramp is $100 per person. We require a two month membership commitment once On Ramp is completed. This provides you the best opportunity to adapt to our training program.

What is involved in training?

First you complete RRCF's "On Ramp" Program which is a class teaching you all of the basic movements involved in the CrossFit program. This is a two time a week class for three weeks with all beginners and it is required.   Classes are 1 hour in length and involve a warm up, a WOD (workout of the day), and stretching/mobility. Classes normally do not last the entire hour but we set aside that period to allow us the time to get all the needed information to our new members.

What is Crossfit?

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.

Think Crossfit is too hard?

A bedrock principle of CrossFit is that all the workouts we do and all the movements we use can be modified to suit anyone willing to put forth the effort, regardless of age or previous physical condition. "Courtesy of CrossFit Inc." Much of our coaching expertise centers around teaching people to move correctly, and guiding them through exercise progressions suited to their abilities. The modifications we make preserve the exercise stimulus from the Workout of the Day.  Can't do a pushup?  No problem, we can work with that.  Can't do a pullup?  No problem, we can fix it!
